Maplewood Chamber Music Workshop
There are two sessions per academic year each composed of 4 Saturday afternoons spaced about a month apart. In the fall and the spring the directors group the players by skill levels to work on their selected pieces. Preformed groups are always welcome. Each group is coached by professional musicians. At the final workshop of each session there is an opportunity for the groups to perform their pieces. New Music On The Point – June Festival
hosted by Point CounterPoint For composers and performers 18+ Intensive interaction between participants and our internationally-renowned faculty is integral to the New Music On The Point experience. Participants work closely with faculty in private lessons, masterclasses, workshops, reading sessions, ensembles and daily seminars. Tuscany Adult Amateur Cello Workshop
For more than 25 years cellist Peter Lewy has run workshops dedicated to helping amateur adult cello players improve their skills. This year he will be offering his highly acclaimed workshop in beautiful Tuscany Italy. Each day begins with an hour-long group class for all participants at 9:30 AM. All participants receive daily lessons with the maestro. Housing and most activities will take place in a beautifully renovated convent in the spectacular crown jewel of the Tuscany region, Cortona. Students will be able to practice and play with others up to 12 hours a day! A professional pianist is available for exploring the repertoire. Other Activities include Master Classes, Faculty Concerts and performance opportunities for those who wish to improve their performance skills. There is no audition and no minimum skill level, the premise is: “Come as you are to enjoy the study, the work and the beauty of one of the worlds most spectacular regions, Tuscany”. Worcester Chamber Music Society – ChamberFest Adult Workshop
Featuring 10 hours of ensemble coaching with renowned faculty. Offering daily workshops on various subjects to help participants explore their artistry, including improvisation, effective practice techniques, Feldenkreis movement, and performance style. The weekend includes a Worcester Chamber Music Society concert (free for participants), culminating in a public student performance. Overnight housing on campus is available. VIP Academy 2025
VIP Academy: More than a masterclass! Since 1999, the Vienna International Pianists association has been organizing their international piano academy at Vienna’s prestigious Ehrbar Hall, where celebrities like Johannes Brahms and Gustav Mahler once performed! Each participant will receive 4 individual lessons, one with each member of our faculty team, plus 3 units of vocal instruction! All participants can perform at the final concert, August 11. Adult Chamber Workshop

hosted by Point CounterPoint Pianos on the Point welcomes adult pianists to experience the joys of playing together in a warm, supportive environment. This focused track provides pianists with the opportunity to delve even deeper into their musical journey, offering additional repertoire, insights, and collaborative experiences. We match players of similar levels to work together for 5 days on duo repertoire that is assigned at least 6 weeks in advance, in consultation with each student’s preferences. Fall Retreat for Early to Mid-Career Composers
